No, I don’t want to change my lifestyle.

I just don’t want to die from the life I’m living right now.

There’s that moment when you suddenly stop.
Maybe at night, when it’s finally quiet, and you’re just sitting on the couch.
You scroll through your phone, but you’re not really looking at anything.
And a thought crosses your mind:
“Okay, I can still handle this… but for how long?”

Somewhere in their thirties, every woman reaches this point.
You’re still young - but not that young anymore.

You’re full of plans, responsibilities, expectations - and somehow everything happens at once.
Work, kids, relationship, mortgage, health…
It’s like life decided to test you on every front, all at the same time.

And while you’re trying to hold it all together, something keeps whispering in the background:
“What’s the point of all this if I’m paying for it with my health?”

No, I don’t want to “change my lifestyle.”
I’m not in a bargaining position with my own life right now.
What should I do - leave my child because I need “me time”?
Tell my boss that from now on I only work on organic-salad days?
That’s not realistic.
This isn’t the season of retreat and smoothies.

This is the season of building.
Of pushing through.
Of telling yourself, “just one more thing, then I’ll rest.”
And deep down, you know it can’t go on like this forever.

Yes, maybe the real problems will show up in my forties.
But the truth is, I’m writing that script right now.
Not through some big mistake - but through tiny habits.
The ones that feel harmless in the rush of everyday life.
The morning pastry, the quick dinner, the skipped sleep, the fourth coffee, the “I’ll work out tomorrow” days.

They don’t look dangerous.
But that’s exactly how balance slips away - quietly, invisibly.
Not overnight, but over years.
Just like money doesn’t disappear in one big purchase - it leaks out in small, careless ones.
Energy works the same way.

I don’t want a new life.
I don’t want to change everything.
I just don’t want to die from the life I’m living now.
I don’t want to feel old in my thirties.
I don’t want my body to feel like my enemy.
I just want to stop having to choose between career, family, and health.
Because deep down I know: if I give everything now and break myself in the process,
by the time I get where I’m going - there won’t be anyone left to arrive.

It’s not about lifestyle change.
Not about a big transformation.
It’s about learning how not to lose myself in what I’m building.
About taking my life back, piece by piece -the same way it slipped away, piece by piece.
Because maybe I can still handle it now,
but I don’t want to wait until my body speaks for me.

And if I’m honest - what scares me isn’t that something bad might happen one day.
It’s that in all this rushing, I might just forget how to live.

And if I only knew how simple it really is
to cut out those tiny habits that slowly, quietly undermine my health -
that restless voice in my head might never have started speaking at all.
But maybe that’s the point - that it did. Because that’s the first sign
that it’s time to start taking my life back.
